C.C. Poulin Equipment Limited was incorporated in May 1974. The founder Clifford Charles Poulin (C.C. Poulin) and his wife and partner Shirley Poulin, started up the business in a rented building on 416 Main Street, providing sales and service for Aeroquip hydraulic hose and fittings, Massey Ferguson industrial and construction equipment and, Barko hydraulic loaders.Within a few years all three of their sons, Dan, Dale, and Darrin were on board working with the company and are the present day directors/owners of the company. In 1975 C.C. Poulin Equipment Limited was appointed the Mack Truck distributor for Northwestern Ontario. In 1977 the present day facility at 125 Conservation Road was purchased. Many changes and renovations were required and, are ongoing to remain competitive in the market. Since that time the company has never strayed very far from trucks or truck-related equipment in the vendors that were represented. In 1990 C.C. Poulin Equipment Limited signed up with the International Truck and Engine Corporation to sell and service their products in Northwestern Ontario, a partnership that is still growing strong. C.C.
